Rev. Kevin Shock became ordained on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Holidaysburg Pa. Bishop Gregory R. Pile presided over the ordination and Bishop David R. Strobel - preached for the service of Holy Communion with Rite of Ordination for Kevin Shock.

On September 27, 2006 Kevin accepted the call to preach and teach the Word of God at St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pleasant Gap, Pa.

Pastor Kevin has opened up the congregation to teaching with Tuesday evening Bible study and Sunday school classes for all ages.
